United Barbell closed on June 26th, 2026 after 16 years in SOMA.

United Barbell served athletes in SOMA from August 2010 to June 2026. UB athletes became dedicated lifelong athletes, competitors, coaches, even gym owners! Forever friendships were forged, and some lucky people even met their spouse inside our walls.

We’re forever grateful to our community of coaches and athletes who made United Barbell the special place it was.
